Rick Gnann

Director of Asset Management

Rick Gnann is the Director of Asset Management at The Geneva Group. Mr. Gnann has over 10 years of experience working across multiple facets of the commercial real estate industry. He began his career at Meridian Capital Group, where he contributed to the origination, negotiation, and execution of over $500M in real estate transactions. After leaving Meridian, Mr. Gnann joined RER Solutions as a Real Estate Financial Advisor. While at RER, Mr. Gnann worked as a consultant to the US Army on the MHPI program. Mr. Gnann was responsible for advising the US Army on real estate finance, property and asset management, construction oversight, and JV partnership compliance. He oversaw a portfolio of over 10,000 homes, spanning 5 military installations. Mr. Gnann left RER Solutions in 2018 and joined DLP Capital as a Senior Asset Manager. While at DLP, Mr. Gnann oversaw $1 billion in AUM, across 10,000 apartment units. While overseeing DLP’s asset management department, Mr. Gnann was responsible for budgeting/annual business planning, investor reporting, acquisition due diligence, dispositions, and financings. Most recently, Mr. Gnann served as the Director of Asset Management for Comstock Companies. He led their asset management department, overseeing 1,700 apartment units, 1.5M square feet of office, 250K square feet of retail, a 4.5M square foot development pipeline, and over 10K parking spaces. He contributed to Comstock’s leasing efforts by providing financial analysis, negotiation, and execution of over 1M square feet of office and retail leasing.  He implemented new budgeting and forecasting software, institutional level reporting, and lease flow trackers, which streamlined existing processes and provided the organization with accurate and transparent data. Additionally, he was a key member of their COVID-19 committee, which focused on overhead reduction, tenant retention, and rent relief negotiations.

 Mr. Gnann graduated from Florida Atlantic University, with a BBA in Business Economics. Hobbies include golfing, Muay Thai, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
