Stillwater is a residential subdivision consisting of 482 lots surrounding a von Hagge Smelek and Baril 18-hole signature golf course in the Arrington, Williamson County Tennessee. The site is located twenty five miles south of Nashville and just ten miles east of Franklin. The property is just over 700 acres with a majority of the property being the former home of country music star Tanya Tucker.
The 22,000 square foot house is located in the center of the property and is being converted into the club house for the golf course. The property is wooded and has unique topography with elevation changes of up to 180 feet with a stream and 2 ponds. The golf course would encompass approximately 170 of the acres with the balance of land to be utilized for housing and right of ways.
Williamson County was rated the 17th wealthiest county in the United States based on Median Household Income for the 2009 US Census Bureau. Along with the existing Country Music and Health Care industries, Nashville has attracted several new employers to the area including Verizon Wireless Regional Headquarters and Nissan's North American Headquarters.
